A Kiss (Ofcourse, on a Dream)

காலையில் தேர்வு
எழுதுவதாகக் கூறினான்
என் கல்லூரி நண்பன் !
கனவுகளில் ‍-
நானும் எழுதுகின்றேன்,
எழுதுகோல்கள்,
என் உதடுகள்தான் !
எழுதுதாள்களோ,
என்னவளின் உதடுகள் !

அவளை -
முத்தக் கவிதைகளால்
ஒத்தடம் கொடுக்க‌
எத்தனித்து திரும்புகையில்தான்
எனக்கே தெரியும்,
என்னையே காணவில்லையென்று !

Background of this poetry:

It was written during my college days when some of my friends mocked me before the start of an Exam, for writing only vegetarian poetries like Friendship, Spiritual, Social types. So, as a challenge, wrote these lyrics on that day in the exam hall itself, when Exam was going on. But still, scored well in that Exam.. n could not score only in this exam.. :)

அண்ணன்‍ - தங்கை !
நான் வாரிவாரி
வழங்கவிரும்பும் ஓர்
அற்புத உறவு !

ஆனால்‍,
செயலுக்கு என்றுமே
எல்லையிருக்க,
அது இந்த செழியனுக்கும்
நன்று பொருந்த,

அன்பைத் தவிர‌
வேறென்ன வழங்கட்டும், என்
அருமைத் தங்கைக்கு ?

இருந்தாலும் இந்தாண்டு
ரக்க்ஷா பந்தனுக்கு
இதோ வைத்துக்கொள்,
